Catchin' Up...

Wow, it's been a while. All you moms out there know that May is busier than December, and add to that a couple of weddings, a son graduating, Baccalaureate, Grandparent's Day, Mother's Day, about 100 parties/showers/teas, a 22-month old wreaking non-stop-havoc, and suddenly you have NO time to blog or read friend's blogs! In the midst of all this, I'm forcing myself to stop for a while this morning and try to re-cap the last few weeks, b/c if I don't, I'll never catch up. As I said a couple of posts ago, it's a heart-wrenching season....While in some ways it's a little sad to mark the end of this chapter, this time serves as a reminder of God's faithfulness over the years and of His favor every step of the way... and so our hearts are filled with gratitude for our incredible kids who we love so much. The boys are maturing and we're enjoying a new kind of "friendship" with them that doesn't feel so much like parenting. It's fun. They're way cool. And we are loving this season!

Okay, here are a few pictures from our friend, Jessica Lee's wedding a couple weeks ago...

Me with my four favorite men!

Jessica with Phillip.  Isn't she lovely?!

Me with Bill Lee, the father of the bride...
and daddy to the twins who have been Tyler's dear friends growing up.

Tyler, Jacob, Nolan, Jeff, Caleb, Madison and Callie
(all, except Nolan, graduating together this coming Sunday)

Dad and Nolan...(The boys like to rag Dad about how "short" he is now, at 6'1")

Me with Caleb Lee (one of the twins)
(I love this boy is like my own son...he and Tyler have been inseparable since 2000)

Blessed Mom...

Nolan and I dancin' to a little Earth, Wind and Fire...

Sweet Madison and Tyler...

Me and Phillip

Tyler with Grandma Lee, his adopted Grandmother...

Maria, Me and Tater

Phillip with Sara Kate Lee, the little sister of the bride...beautiful child!
