Fall Days

Tennessee is absolutely beautiful this time of year, so Dad grabbed his camera and took these shots of Macy Li this past Saturday right out in our front yard...

Then after church on Sunday, we decided to take advantage of this gorgeous weather once again...

"Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm.  Nothing is too difficult for you!"   Jeremiah 32:17

You got some great photos of her in the fall leaves. I didn't manage to get any great ones of Logan, it was either raining or the leaves were gone. I guess there is always next year! Have a great week.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and offering such kind words! Your blog is great as well - beautiful family and the photography is exceptional. Got to ask, where did you get your little girl's outfit in the fall photos? Too cute!

Lovely photos! Your daughter is beautiful! I love the way you dress her...so cute! Oh, and I must say after looking at the other photos you have a very beautiful family!

May I ask what camera you were using when you shot the photos of your daughter? I'm a photographer wannabe and I'm hoping to get a new camera soon. Would love a dslr. I am always curious as to what others are using. Thanks! :)

Thank you for the kind comment on my blog! Your daughter is beautiful. The lighting in the photos of her sitting on the leaves are amazing. I wish we had trees like that where I live. Only palm trees in my pictures. :)

Good morning Rhonda....

Thanks for coming so I could find YOU!

Now that's an adorable little girl...what a sweet smile. And, the photography is just fabulous. My "little" girl is 38 so it's a bit late to try these sorts of shots on her....they're soooo much better than all of the pictures I have of her standing by/sitting on the fireplace. Now I see that taking shots of them just being them is the way to go? A day late and a dollar short.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Warm blessings,
Spencer

Hi Rhonda! Those pictures of your sweetness are too incredible for words. She is just lovely!

My name is Kelly Johnson, and we just brought our sweet Addie Grace from Nanchang in June. Everywhere we go people stop us and ask if we know yall, and they say that addie grace looks like Macy Li! We attend Bethel (in Franklin), and P. Rice told us that we have to meet yall too! We have good friends that have a son at Samford with your son (Bo), and we have a Junior at Ravenwood! So we have started all over again! Our blog is Feathersfromournest.blogspot.com. but I haven't updated in forever. Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself, and hopefully we'll run into eachother soon! I love your blog and your sweet family!
Blessings to you!

Hey Kelly J!
I'm leaving you a message here, b/c I couldn't get it to work on your blog for some reason??? Just hopin' you'll check back. Anyway, YES Pastor Rice told us about y'all and YES, Addie Grace DOES resemble Macy Li!!!!! Which orphanage did she come form? I'd be interested in hearing more about her life in Jiangxi, and I'm happy to share Macy Li's as well. Anyway, she's a doll and thanks for visiting my blog!

Hi Rhonda!
I forgot that I had to turn off comments for a while on my blog because of some very opinionated (negative)comments toward our adoption (sad, huh? can you believe people?)
You can reach me by email at kellyj73@bellsouth.net
Addie Grace (YiXiang) was from Feng Chen Orphanage and was in foster care since day 2 of her birth. I was extremely blessed to have pictures of her with her caregiver. Addie is still soooo far behind, but we continue to press through, work with her and trust in the Lord for her growth. She has improved a TON since we brought her home at 11 months old. and we can't kiss that girl enough!
I hope to meet you soon and your sweet Macy Li!
Blessing, Kelly
