Pizza Hut Rocks

Tonight, the whole group decided to try to Americanize our additions with some good ol' from-the-States pizza. Maggie, our fabulous guide, delivered the "manna from heaven"... We tore into 'em like it was our last supper. We were all sitting around on the floor in the playroom, sharing stories of how our babies were adjusting, when we looked up and what did we see?.................Macy Li chomping on a piece of pizza crust. I guess since she's OVER being an orphan, she has given up on any more fish porridge! We didn't have the heart to tell her that it is normally not on the diet until you have an adequate number of teeth to chew it up...Okay the Dobson Poster Family we're not! But how do you say no to the most precious little girl in Nanchang?

Macy Li says, "I love Pizza Hut!"

After a warm and VERY splashy bath, here is our princess in her jammies!

Goodnight from Nanchang!

AWWWWWWWWWWWW..........super sweet. Just a fyi. My daughter is from Guatemala and they could not afford baby food. She has never had baby food in her life. She ate adult food from the begining, no teeth at all !!!! to this day, she hates anything soft like baby food. They manage to gum their food without teeth. it is so cute. congrats. courtney

Just so you know, Cousin McKenna has had a little pizza crust herself. She kept whining while Maggie, Landon, and Lofton enjoyed some that Aunt Carmen just couldn't say no. So, she gummed on it; I like to think that it was like a delicious teething ring.

God is so good to allow her to show such signs of joy and peace. She glows more every time you send pics!

I am Lesli Cryer's mom (one of the gals in your group). She told me about your blog. How delightful, well written and what a hoot some of the lines are! I am anxious to go back and read it some more when I have time. You must live fairly close by since I saw something about pinto beans and cornbread.

We share your joy as our Rusty and Lesli are up north picking up their precious Joshua! You will get to meet him on Friday.

God Bless you. You have a beautiful family!

Singing praises for you tonight as I read of how well Macy is attaching my heart soars as I remember how it felt when we received our daughter and she never wanted us to let her go. There is no greater feeling than to know that God has prepared a precious child so far away to want her mama's love. The joy on your face is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing your miracle with all of us.

Love,
Nichole
